Meet Laura
I've worked in Human Resources for over 10 years across various private and public sector organisations and prior to this, held senior roles within Local Government. I also teach HR Apprentices and enjoy passing on my experience to the next generation of HR Professionals.
Most importantly for me, I come from a family of small business owners and I passionately believe in supporting local businesses, building stronger communities and happier workplaces.
It's from this belief I founded The HR Crowd and work alongside other like-minded HR professionals to deliver practical and commercially focused solutions to help other small businesses and their employees.
I have a Level 7 (PGDip) qualification in Human Resource Management, an NLP Diploma in Coaching, Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement and a Level 3 Award in Education and Training. I am also an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD).
When I'm not being busy working or parenting, you'll find me on a tennis court or enjoying the outdoors with my husband, son and our crazy Springador, Dexter.
